Anaheim Convention Center Becomes Home to the Natural Disasters Expo

The Natural Disasters Expo opened its doors on November 9th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by event director Jack Moss, City of Anaheim Fire & Rescue Emergency Manager, Jannie Wilmoth, MMA star Rampage Jackson, and Quality Environmental CEO Gus Escutia.

Hundreds of attendees came to hear over 100 speakers, meet hundreds of suppliers, and view hundreds of live demonstrations. The Natural Disasters Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center reigned supreme in bringing together a variety of disaster preparedness, management, and mitigation experts to discuss the latest advancements in recovery solutions, preparedness, and life-saving technology.

The Keynote lineup hosted Commanding Officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the American Red Cross, GSA, NOVA, The Tornado Hunters, and more! Both theatres were overflown on both days as attendees filled the seats to hear Keynote speakers extend their knowledge on relief program awareness, introduced new and exciting products, as well as sharing the newest innovative technology.

An Earthquake Country Alliance symposium was held in theatre 7 fur the entirety of day one. Organisation members and attendees participated in sessions hosted by experts focused on improving earthquake and tsunami preparedness, mitigation, and resilience.

During our Innovation Awards, some of our Exhibitors at the Natural Disasters Expo were recognized for providing unparalleled opportunities and solutions helping all prevention, emergency, and recovery professionals to establish an extremely profitable business. Three winners were selected as the most innovative leaders of the year. Blues Wireless, WingXpand, and Stryker took home the trophies this year - Find out which award each of them earned here!

Our Live Demo Trail gave attendees the opportunity to seek out all of the amazing in-person demonstrations happening at the show. The live demonstrations were a big hit with our attendees. There were demonstrations being held all day, such as, the Live Fire Safety Demo held outside, everyone left the show with either hands-on or real-world experience.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Historical Society Museum also provided attendees with the opportunity to sit in a 1995 Hummer H1 brush truck. After getting a chance to relive the 90s, our attendees got the chance to not only sit in the Tornado Hunters Truck but also climb on it!
