And, by avoiding the emergent latencies common in even advanced smart meter systems, Copper's solution provides more timely, better-quality data to utilities and their customers. To turn its high-resolution data into actionable insights, Copper provides utilities with a web portal that displays real-time geographical consumption data and enables them to deliver targeted messaging to customers, run behavioral conservation events, and plan for peak loads. For consumers, Copper offers a mobile app that engages them around their water consumption, offers relevant insights (such as leak detection and mid-cycle high bill alerts), and can even share details on relevant utility programs.
